Be a part of the RAM/SWANA Conference!
The Conference Committee is looking for presentations on emerging topics, including but not limited to textiles, solar panel recycling, new organics programs and technologies, hazardous waste and compliance, etc. If you would like to introduce the results of your research, program, technology or recent project to a broad regional audience of solid waste and recycling professionals from a five-state area and beyond, we want to hear from you!
The committee invites speakers to submit abstracts for presentations within the following conference programming themes:
Recycling
Solid Waste
Organics
Hazardous Waste
Waste Prevention/Reduction
A strong proposal should be designed for seasoned professionals and targeted toward the potential audience as well as the session reviewers.
The Call for Presentations Deadline is January 2, 2026
Please try to limit submissions to ONE session per speaker. Preference may be given to presentations that qualify for Continuing Education Credits for MPCA Type II/III Landfill Operator Certification. Sales presentations not accepted.

Cancellations received in writing on or before March 1, 2024 are fully refundable. No refunds will be allowed after March 1, 2024. Non-payment or non-attendance does not constitute cancellation. Notice of substitutions must be made in writing and sent to: eventsbyemilymn@comcast.net.
Member pricing is applicable only to current Recycling Association of Minnesota (RAM) or Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) members. If you can not verify your membership, you will be billed at the non-member rate.
