Nicole Blasing | Minnesota Pollution Control Agency

Nicole Blasing is the Municipal Division Director for the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA). The Municipal Division regulates municipal wastewater, municipal stormwater, construction stormwater, and subsurface sewage treatment system (SSTS) activities within the state. The Division also provides technical and financial assistance to municipalities and counties responsible for wastewater and stormwater facilities and SSTS regulation.

Nicole has worked for the MPCA for over 22 years. During her time at the MPCA she has been a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System/State Disposal System (NPDES/SDS) permit writer, compliance and enforcement inspector, a Municipal Wastewater Supervisor overseeing NPDES/SDS permitting policy for the MPCA’s Municipal Wastewater Section, the North Regional Watershed Manager and the Municipal Wastewater Section Manager. She has been the Municipal Division Director for just over 3 years.
