Chase Poppenhagen | Resource Renew

Chase Poppenhagen is the Solid Waste Services Manager at Resource Renew, the brand of Western Lake Superior Sanitary District, in Duluth, Minnesota. He oversees the region’s solid waste transfer station, Materials Recovery Center, regional Household Hazardous Waste Facility, and Yard Waste Compost Site. Chase joined Resource Renew in 2020 as a technician at the HHW facility, where he served as the Clean Shop Coordinator, facilitating the Very Small Quantity Generator (VSQG) collection program. Poppenhagen holds a B.S. in Geological Sciences from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
