Victor Krause | University of Minnesota Duluth
Victor Krause leads a University of Minnesota Duluth NRRI team investigating building and furniture deconstruction and material reuse. The team searches for alternative uses for commonly disposed materials from bulky furniture like wood, textiles, and foam. The team also develops ideas in the form of prototypes to encourage others to think about material reuse and repurposing rather than throwing it away. Victor is also a Materials Testing Specialist for the Materials & Bioeconomy Research Group at NRRI. He manages and coordinates testing activities for the Mechanical Testing Room while interacting with clients at NRRI or on location. Apart from testing and research, Victor enjoys playing ice hockey goalie, riding motorcycle, and spending time outdoors doing numerous activities with his family, including 5 grandchildren.
