David Keeling | PCIA/TCC
David Keeling is the Executive Director of Pressurized Cylinder Industry Association (PCIA) and The Cylinder Collection (TCC).
The PCIA, a 501©6 trade association, represents the cylinder industry on EPR related issues on the national and state levels.
TCC, a 501©3 charitable organization, is the Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO) responsible for the implementation of stewardship programs for gas pressurized cylinders which enables participating producers to be compliant with state EPR laws.
TCC is currently active in the State of Connecticut having implemented its statewide cylinder collection stewardship program.
Other background information:
Mr. Keeling collaborates with BEWI Connect as a Premium Partner, brokering plastics, paper, and metal products with an emphasis on Expanded Polystyrene Foam for its parent company BEWI which has 70 manufacturing plants throughout Europe.
Mr. Keeling recently served as the National Byproducts Sales Director and Commercial Sales Manager for Eastern US for ARCA Recycling based in Edina, MN. ARCA Recycling worked with utility funded appliance recycling programs across the country.
During his 29-year tenure, Mr. Keeling served as SRI Director, Recycling and worked at various other positions at the Steel Recycling Institute, a business unit of American Iron and Steel Institute, based in Washington, DC
While at the Steel Recycling Institute, Mr. Keeling served as President of the National Recycling Coalition and was a member of every state recycling organization and US Green Building Council chapter across the country. He also served as a board member and officer in several of those associations.
Prior to joining the S.R.I., Mr. Keeling worked in various positions at Central Steel and Wire in Chicago, IL.
Mr. Keeling holds a B.S. in Marketing from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
Mr. Keeling currently serves as a trustee and served for ten years as the Chair of the Pi Sigma Epsilon National Education Foundation, which supports sales and marketing education and provides scholarships to college students interested in sales and marketing careers.
Mr. Keeling is a Past National President of the Pi Sigma Epsilon, Inc., a professional sales and marketing fraternal organization based in Wisconsin with collegiate chapters throughout the nation.
Mr. Keeling and his wife, Kristin, have two daughters, Isabelle Socorro and Jenna Elizabeth and a son, Jackson William (aka. Jack Attack).
