Suzanne Savanick Hansen, Ph.D. has more than 20 years of experience leading sustainability programs. She launched a new systemwide sustainability program at Allina Health in 2020 where she spearheaded a climate action plan and is currently implementing system-wide initiatives to reduce waste, energy and greenhouse gas emissions. She pioneered sustainability programs in the region when she coordinated the University of MN’s Sustainable Campus Initiative in 2000 and started the sustainability program at Macalester College in 2008.
