Anna Schmiel | Rethos

With a focus on sustainable economic development, Anna has supported community wealth building at a business incubator in North Minneapolis and helped push through anti-displacement policy at Hennepin County. She currently works for Rethos, developing their Deconstruction Training Program for building reuse and deconstruction. A lifelong Minnesotan, Anna graduated from Carleton College in 2017 and is currently pursuing her Master's in Sustainable Design at MCAD. She is particularly interested in how public infrastructure projects can be multi-functional and better serve residents.
